Five killed in mine explosion in eastern Afghanistan

Five people, including four policemen, were killed on Tuesday in a roadside bombing in Ghazni province in eastern Afghanistan.

Five people, including four policemen, were killed on Tuesday in a roadside bombing in Ghazni province in eastern Afghanistan.

In a statement to reporters, a spokesman for the Ghazni Security Directorate, Ahmed Khan Sirat, said that the roadside mine was detonated after a police car ran over it in the Hoshk district of Deh Yak district in the state.

He explained that the bombing killed 5 people, including 4 policemen.

No one has claimed responsibility for the bombing so far.
