On Tuesday, the Commands of the Karbala and Middle Euphrates Operations of the Popular Mobilization Units launched a massive search operation in the desert towards the Ayn al-Tamr, Al-Rahaliya and Al-Nukhaib districts.

The Middle Euphrates Operations Commander of the PMU, Major General Ali Al-Hamdani, said in a statement, that the joint forces from the army, police, air force and the PMU participated in the operation that was launched to search the desert towards Ain Al-Tamr, Al-Rahaliya and Al-Nukhayb.

Al-Hamdani added that the operation was launched according to intelligence information to search the area and ward off dangers from the holy provinces of Karbala and Najaf.
