Syrian army takes control of the villages of Ma`rat Horma, Ma`zita, and Jabalya in Idlib countryside

The Syrian forces announced the restoration of control over a number of villages in the southern countryside of Idlib, confirming the liberation of the villages of Sheikh Mustafa, Naqir, Kafr Sijnah, Arenbah, after fighting with armed groups.

The Syrian News Agency indicated that the army units took control of the villages of Areenbeh and Sattouh al-Dair in the southern countryside of Idlib, and that they were advancing towards Deir Sunbul and Tarmala.

These developments come the day after the Syrian army took control of the villages of Sheikh Damas and Hantoutine, southwest and northwest of Ma`rat al-Numan, in the southern Idlib countryside.
