Security operations launched in the Karbala desert and Najaf’s Jazeera to prevent infiltration of terrorists

The Middle Euphrates Operations Command launched a security operation in Karbala’s desert and the district of Jazeera in Najaf to secure the borders and protect the provinces.

 

The Middle Euphrates Operations Command launched a security operation in Karbala’s desert and the district of Jazeera in Najaf to secure the borders and protect the provinces.

Head of the media center, Brigadier Fahim Al-Ibrahimi, said that the operation that was launched in cooperation with the Middle Euphrates Operations Command aims to liberate all areas that border Karbala and Najaf to protect them from terrorist threats.

Al-Ibrahimi added, “The operation came as an implementation of a duty to pursue the remnants of ISIS in the Karbala desert and Najaf’s Jazeera and their borders, and to enhance security in those areas.”
