Authorities say that on July 26, 2019, the defendants burned a sofa chair at the entrance to Ma’ameer, in protest of the execution of the two martyrs, Ahmed al-Mullali and Ali al-Arab.

Bahraini authorities executed the activists, Ali Al-Arab and Ahmad Al-Mulla, at the dawn of Saturday, July 27, 2019, for the murder of a policeman, an accusation that al-Arab and al-Mullali denied during their trials.
