Free Muslim is concerned about the fate of Uighurs in China

The International Non-Violence Organization, Free Muslim, expressed its deep concern at reports of Uighurs Muslims in Xinjiang province in the far west of the Republic of China, calling on all human rights bodies to investigate the truth to protect the Muslim people in China.

 

 

The International Non-Violence Organization, Free Muslim, expressed its deep concern at reports of Uighurs Muslims in Xinjiang province in the far west of the Republic of China, calling on all human rights bodies to investigate the truth to protect the Muslim people in China.

“The Chinese authorities have arrested dozens of thousands of Uighur Muslims in a campaign with political objectives that blatantly violate human rights in addition to the the detention of members of religious minorities in the region,” The organization said in a statement received by Shiawaves.

The statement added that “Over the past few years, Xinjiang has witnessed numerous arbitrary practices by the Chinese authorities, mostly targeting the Muslim minority living there, resulting in deaths and injuries, as well as the arrest of thousands for political reasons.”

The organization called on all human rights organizations and organizations around the world to investigate the fate of the detainees and to reveal the nature of the practices carried out by the Chinese authorities and to push the latter to stop these serious violations.
