Followers of Ahlulbait revive Eid al-Ghadeer in Washington DC

313 Foundation held the second annual celebration in Washington DC celebrating the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer.

 

313 Foundation held the second annual celebration in Washington DC celebrating the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer.

The celebration was attended by massive crowds of the followers of Ahlulbait, peace be upon them, in North America, whereas they congratulated one another on the occasion.

600 flowers were distributed in the streets in front of the white house where the celebration was held, in addition to a number of number of letters that were decorated with the traditions of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.

Poetry on the love of the Ahlulbait, peace be upon them, was read in 3 languages by different orators, in addition to religious sermons were the preachers stressed the the aim of holding such celebrations is to introduce the character of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, his state and politics to the non-Muslims.
