First religious school to open in Nakhchivan

The head of the office for Religious Affairs in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic said the first religious school of the Islamic country is planned to be launched in the near future.

 

 

The head of the office for Religious Affairs in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic said the first religious school of the Islamic country is planned to be launched in the near future.

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Vaqar Babayev said the school will be set up at Al-Zahra Mosque of the region.

Babayev added that the main objective of the school is to develop religious education in the region and raise a generation of religious experts to introduce Islam. Babayev also expressed willingness to participate in the programs planned to celebrate the selection of the holy city of Mashhad as the cultural capital of the Muslim world in 2017.
