Chinese calligraphers display Quranic verses

calligraphic artworks have been put on display by five Chinese calligraphers

 

As many as 23 stunning calligraphic artworks have been put on display by five Chinese calligraphers featuring Quranic verses in an innovative way at Gallery 6 in Islamabad.

The leading Chinese calligraphers including Imam Haji Abdul Hakim, Noor Muhammad, Ibrahim and Nooruddin painted their creativity through the means of ink on Chinese paper while colorful silk borders add further attraction to the work, the Pakistan Observer reported.

Calligraphers also displayed various eras of Quranic script writing and the history of calligraphy to capture the golden period of Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his progeny, to different periods of Islamic civilizations to the present century.
