Groups of university and seminary students from Iraq visited the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom, on June 19, 2019. In this meeting, the Grand Jurist hosted these visitors and said:

“With greater hardships come greater rewards. You are still young and hopefully, you will have a bright future ahead.” The Grand Jurist then added: “To have a happy life, both in this world and the hereafter, we all need to adhere to the advices of the holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH). According to traditions, someone asked the Prophet to give him a piece of an advice, and the God’s messenger said: “Don’t get angry.” We should never lose our temper, under no circumstances and for no reasons. If we stick to this advice by the Prophet, we will surely have a happy life ahead.”

His eminence then said: “Though it is difficult, but you can do it. Make a firm resolution not to lose your temper at all. The more you avoid rage and anger, the happier you will be in your lives and in the hereafter, when your book of deeds are given to you, you will be even happier.”

The Grand Ayatollah Shirazi concluded his remarks by saying: “The Prophet of Islam wants us to avoid anger in our lives. And if you accomplish this task, you will have the key to a happy life both in this world and the next.”
