Husseiniyat al-Rasul al-Atham holds a funeral for Shia child martyr

Husseiniyat al-Rasul al-Atham, affiliated to the office of the Grand Jurist Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, held a funeral in honor of the martyrdom of 6 year old Zakariya al-Jabir on yesterday in London.

 

Husseiniyat al-Rasul al-Atham, affiliated to the office of the Grand Jurist Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, held a funeral in honor of the martyrdom of 6 year old Zakariya al-Jabir on yesterday in London.

The ceremony was held in the presence of many political and cultural figures in Britain, as well as scholars, and a number of the representatives of the Shia Jurists in addition to a large number of the Shia community members in Europe.

The participants also stood in a vigil to express their solidarity with the victim’s family and to stand against the criminal school of thought that propagates killing humans in cold blood.

According to Shiawaves correspondent the vigil kicked off on Saturday at 4:30. The event witnessed holding Quranic recitations by Sayyid Jalal Ma’soomi in addition to poetry by Mariam Ezz Eddin, followed by a speech by Zainab Amy, a civil activist.
