Grand Ayatollah Shirazi delivers speech on eleventh of Muharram’s eve

Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, delivered a speech on the eve of the eleventh of Muharram, the night of desolation, in the holy city of Qom. 

 

Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, delivered a speech on the eve of the eleventh of Muharram, the night of desolation, in the holy city of Qom. 

His eminence began the speech with condoling the mourners asking Allah, the Almighty, to bring himself and them among those avenging for Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. 

His eminence also said “blessed are those who have put their efforts in the service of the pilgrims of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and blessed are those who were killed or injured on the way to visit the holy land of Karbala.” Calling on everyone to research on those who grew animosity against the Husseini rituals, and those who revived it. Pointing out that those who proceeded us have put everything they had on the service of Ahlulbait, peace be upon them, stressing on the importance on providing the best services to the pilgrims of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and that “it is the time for the rich ones to participate just like the poor ones always do.”

His eminence also added that visa is futile when it is made for the pilgrims of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and that “there will come the day where all visa will be canceled for the lovers of Ahlulbait, peace be upon them.

The speech of his eminence was delivered amid a sorrowful atmosphere on the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, his family, and his companions, peace be upon them.

The speech was attended by a number of scholars, seminary students, and masses of the lovers of Ahlulbait, peace be upon them.
