Al-Wal’aWa al-Fida procession launched the annual trip to the holy city of Samara on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

The procession included more than three hundred buses carrying over thirteen thousand pilgrims.

The procession’s supervisor and public relations director, Sayyid ArifNasrullah, told Shiawaves that the procession launched the annual trip based on the commandments of the Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq 

Sayyid Nasrallah added that a large convoy launched out this year from the holy city of Karbala to the shrine of the Askari imams, peace be upon them, and then to visit the shrine of Sayyid Muhammad bin Imam al-Hadi, peace be upon him, stressing that the pilgrimage this year witnessed a distinctive organization and performance by the organizers in providing the different services to the pilgrims.
