Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s statements on martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein

Sheikh Muhammad Taqqi al-Thakiri, Ayatollah Shirazi representative, stated that statements of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi on Imam Hussein’s martyrdom anniversary were mainly of two subjects: the first is parents’ rights, where his eminence spoke of the community who left Muslim bin Aqeel, peace be upon him, alone till his martyrdom. The second is calling on governments to follow the biography of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and supporting his blessed rituals.
