The airline Garuda Indonesia has been providing the Quran for its passengers as part of its special Ramadan in-flight service, which runs from May 26 through June 5.

Garuda Indonesia vice president corporate secretary M. Ikhsan Rosan explained that the program aimed to facilitate Muslim travels during Ramadan.

“We’d like to provide comfort and convenience to our Muslim passengers during the final 10 days of Ramadan,” Ikhsan said in an official statement. He said that passengers could request the Quran from flight attendants and return it before arriving at their destination.

“We have also introduced an audio version of the Quran that can be found in our in-flight entertainment,” M. Ikhsan said, and that passengers could access the recording though the “Islamic World” menu.
