The Shia pilgrims’ convoy was on way to Taftan border town via Quetta from Jacobabad when Balochistan police denied them entry into Balochistan province from Sindh province.
Zubeda Khanum had come out of bus and was protesting against denial of permission to their buses to proceed to destination. She was standing when a drunkard policeman boarded the bus and took control over driving seat. He started moving the bus and hit the woman.
The woman Shia pilgrim Zubeda Khanum hailed from Kharadar Karachi. Police first didn’t hand over the body but after protest of Shia pilgrims, the body was given to the relatives and that was shifted to Karachi for funeral.
