Karbala provincial council approves security plan for Sha’ban pilgrimage

The head of the Karbala provincial council, Nassif Jassem al-Khattabi, said that the council voted unanimously on the security plan for the pilgrimage of al-Nusf min Sha’baan (the middle of Sha’baan).

 

 

The head of the Karbala provincial council, Nassif Jassem al-Khattabi, said that the council voted unanimously on the security plan for the pilgrimage of al-Nusf min Sha’baan (the middle of Sha’baan).

Al-Khatabi told media that “The Council of Karbala voted unanimously on the security plan for the pilgrimage of the half of Sha’baan in the presence of Karbala governor Aqil al-Turaihi and the commander of the operations of the Middle Euphrates, Major General Qais al-Muhammadawi and Karbala police chief Major General Ahmed Zwaini where it was approved after the presentation and discussion by the Council.”

“The pilgrimage is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, which coincides with the second and third days of next May, as to not contradict the school exams,” he added.
