Asgharia Organisation’s president Irshad Hussaini (Jandan) has stressed on the need for Karachi-like targeted security operation to eliminate takfiri terrorists of banned outfits in rest of Sindh province, Pakistan.

In an interview, he said, takfiri terrorists of banned militant outfits easily reached Shikarpur because of a route from Dera Ismail Khan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) via Dera Ghazi Khan (Punjab) and perpetrated terrorist attacks including suicide bombings in Shikarpur and neighbouring districts in collusion with local facilitators.

Answering a question, he said, as compared to past, security situation was relatively better now but threats remained there hence targeted security operation by Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) should be launched in rural districts of Sindh such as Shikarpur, Jacobabad, etc.

He recalled that some of the terrorists were arrested in Shikarpur as security officials foiled their bid for terrorism during Eid prayers and on their confession their facilitators were also arrested. He said due to that performance of police and rangers, situation was made better hence there is a need to expand targeted operation across Sindh province.
