Revised copy of Nahj-ul-Balaqa to be published

On the occasion of Eid Al-Ghadir, a revised copy of Nahj-ul-Balaqa edited by Qais Bahjat Attar, will be published by Specialized Library of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.

 

The director of the library said that the copy will be based on the earlier copies of Nahj-ul-Balaqa which date back to the 4th to 8th Hijri centuries.

He noted that this year’s Eid Al-Ghadir marks the 1400th anniversary of the Imamate of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and the library plans to publish the copy on the auspicious occasion.

He added that the earliest copy of Nahj-ul Balaqa is the one compiled by Sayyed Razi in the 4th century.

He went on to say that Qais Bahjat Attar’s objective is to provide a comprehensive copy of Nahj-ul-Balaqa of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, based on reliable Shia sources.
