Imam Ali Holy Shrine concludes the activities of the eighth annual Ghadeer Festival

The activities of the eighth annual Ghadeer Festival came to an end in the presence of the Secretary-General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, the Deputy Secretary-General

 

The activities of the eighth annual Ghadeer Festival came to an end in the presence of the Secretary-General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, the Deputy Secretary-General, members of the board of directors, academic and Hawza personages and media activists as well as the participating delegations.

Dr. Ahmed al-Najafi started the activities of the closing ceremony by reciting verses of the Holy Quran.

The speech of the Secretariat General of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine was delivered by the member of the board of director, Mr. Fa’iq al-Shimmary in which he thanked the attendees and the participating delegations. Afterwards he talked about the al-Ghadeer occasion and discussed its historical importance. Moreover, he thanked all the guests from inside and outside Iraq who attended the festival and the reporters and journalists for covering the activities of the festival.

The ceremony was concluded by the distribution of letters of appreciation for the participating delegations and the journalists.
