Egyptian academics review role of Imam Hussein Shrine in developing religious tourism

Iraqi researcher Mehdi Al Saadi, director of the Unit of Media and Relations of the Department of Human Resources Development at the Imam Hussein Shrine, has participated in the activities of the Second International Conference titled “Touristic Marketing of the Delta Area” held by Elmensureh University in the Republic of Egypt.

 

Iraqi researcher Mehdi Al Saadi, director of the Unit of Media and Relations of the Department of Human Resources Development at the Imam Hussein Shrine, has participated in the activities of the Second International Conference titled “Touristic Marketing of the Delta Area” held by Elmensureh University in the Republic of Egypt.

Al Saadi presented a topic “The Role of the Religious Shrines in the Development of Religious Tourism in Iraq: Imam Hussein Holy Shrine as an example.”

The Imam Hussein holy shrine’s representatives spoke of the pilgrimages in Karbala and the millions of pilgrims that are participating.

The College of Tourism and Hotels – at Elmensureh University – has approved of Al Saadi’s research to be published in a special issue.
