The winners of the Arbaeen international photo contest Iraq 2018 were announced.
The competition was organized by the Imam Hussein holy shrine in cooperation with Iraq’s Photography Association and the International Union of Photographers.
The main objective of the competition was to introduce the Arbaeen pilgrimage to the world.
Hussein Dawoud from Egypt, Ibrahim Bahrami from Iran, Majdi Al Naser from Saudi Arabia, Hussein Bahrani from Oman and Hadi Salemi from Iraq formed the panel of judges of the competition.
As many as 3940 photos sent by 850 photographers from 48 countries to the secretariat of the competition were evaluated by the experts.
