The holy shrines in Karbala have begun to cover the entrance doors of the holy shrine with sand, preparing for the rituals of Tatbir and the Twereej Run on the day of Ashura.

 

The holy shrines in Karbala have begun to cover the entrance doors of the holy shrine with sand, preparing for the rituals of Tatbir and the Twereej Run on the day of Ashura.

This preparation facilitates the entry and exit of mourning processions performing Tatbir and running the Twereej Run, which will be launched on the tenth day of Muharram – Ashura.
