Project of Imam Hussain Shrine 'largest cancer treatment center' nearing completion

 

 

One of the largest projects the Imam Hussein Shrine has been implementing is a cancer treatment center, located in al-Hur District – Karbala City. 

Mohammed Taher – project engineer – said, “This project is 12 acres, it is divided into two buildings: the first building will be 4 floors; it is where cancer patients are treated, and the second building will be 4 floors; it is where patients stay.

Taher also said that the capacity of the center is 80 beds, and it will be equipped with modern high-tech medical devices; it is going to be one of its kind in Iraq.

60% of the whole project has been completed, and the Imam Hussein Shrine is persisting to achieve the project as soon as possible.
