Islamabad’s Cultural Week’s contests winners arrive at Imam Hussein Shrine

After holding the Cultural Week in Islamabad, Pakistan, Imam Hussein Shrine has received 35 Pakistani pilgrims who took part in the activities of the Cultural Week and won its contests.

 

After holding the Cultural Week in Islamabad, Pakistan, Imam Hussein Shrine has received 35 Pakistani pilgrims who took part in the activities of the Cultural Week and won its contests.

The winners have come from different Pakistani cities to visit the holy city of Karbala and the shrines of Iraq.

Their visitation is their prize Imam Hussein Shrine specified for the winners of the contests.

Mustafa Abbas, Public relation Assistant Director, said that the Cultural Week shed light upon the projects the shrines in Iraq achieved, the projects that increase the sense of religiosity and culture.

Thol-Fiqar, a pilgrim, said, “Such a great honor for us to be at the shrine of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him), and we hope that such activities will increase to spread religious and intellectual awareness to face the extreme ideology and spread the message of tolerance of Islam.”
