Persevering work underway to achieve al-AqeelaZaineb Sanctuary

The engineering Department of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine is continuing the construction work of al-AqeelaZaineb Sanctuary. 

 

The engineering Department of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine is continuing the construction work of al-AqeelaZaineb Sanctuary. 

The 52,000-square-meter project is considered one of the largest projects within the massive expansion project of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. It will include a vital underground tunnel, which will facilitate the traffic of the free service vehicles and ambulances.

Mohammed HasanKadhim, head of the Engineering Department, said the work is still underway, and the project is expected to be completely achieved in six years.

He added that the project would help manage the traffic of pilgrims and offer them more convenience during pilgrimages.
