Unveiling Imam Ali’s holy dome

Coinciding with the birth anniversary of the holy prophet and his grandson Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon them, Imam Ali holy shrine organized the opening ceremony for the new dome of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.

 

 Coinciding with the birth anniversary of the holy prophet and his grandson Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon them, Imam Ali holy shrine organized the opening ceremony for the new dome of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.

The opening ceremony was attended by a number of public, religious, and political figures and large crowds of the Ahl al-Bayt lovers, peace be upon them.

The white curtains were removed after the rehabilitation process, unveiling the new golden dome. Joyous poems on the holy prophet and his grandson, peace be upon them, were recited.

Officials say that it was one of the major projects of the holy shrine, and 250 kilograms of gold was used during the rehabilitation.
