Thousands of Shia in the holy city of Karbala are ready to mark the self-flagellation rituals and have purchased their Qamas and chains.

Every year, Ahl al-Bayt lovers prepare to mark these rituals on the tenth of Muharram around the world,  especially in the cities of holy Karbala, holy Najaf, and Basra.

The holy shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother al-Abbas, peace be upon them, have well prepared the vicinity of the shrines to facilitate the Husseini rituals performed.
