International book fair kicks off in the holy city of Najaf

Najaf International Book Fair held by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine announced that some 200 local, Arabic, Islamic, and international publishing

 

The Committee in charge of Najaf International Book Fair held by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine announced that some 200 local, Arabic, Islamic, and international publishing houses are participating in the event.

The official of the Publications Division of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department and the member the Exhibition Organizing Committee, Abdul Razaq al-Sheibani, said in a statement to the Media Centre of Imam Ali Holy Shrine “In the announcement of the exhibition, we specified the stipulations of participation and the mechanisms of receiving the publications of the publishing houses taking part”.

He added “We specified a period of 10 days before the activities of the exhibition,in that period we receive the publications and books and store them in their proper place.”

It is said that the Najaf International Book Fair of Imam Ali Holy Shrine is being held for the eighth consecutive time and will remain open from until March 31^st.
